# Use Aayat AI in Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients

Our MCP server is **`https://aayatai.com/mcp`** (Streamable HTTP). No sign-up. It lists our 13 best tools plus the free `topup` and
`balance` tools, so your app stays fast and picks the right tool; all 138 tools are one URL away (below).
**Free trial:** 20 free tool calls a day on 114 of the tools (resets at midnight UTC). After that, or for the
paid-only tools, the tool answer explains how to pay: per call with x402, or with prepaid credits.

**Try our best products free** with these tools (each tool's description says whether the free trial covers it):

- Crypto token report + safety: `token-safety` (free in the trial; $0.02 a call when paid)

## 30 seconds to your first answer

1. **Get a free key**: the button on this page, or `curl -X POST https://aayatai.com/mcp/free-key`. You get a connector URL, `https://aayatai.com/mcp?key=...`, with your own 20 free calls a day.
2. **Paste it into Claude**: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL → Add (Cursor: Settings → MCP → Add server).
3. **Ask**: "Is DEGEN (0x4ed4E862860beD51a9570b96d89aF5E1B0Efefed) safe on Base?"

When the free calls run out, the answer tells you how to top up USDC (minimum $1, $2 suggested; Base or Solana) for the same key: no new key, no restart.

## Pick your tools

Too many tools slow AI apps down (Cursor warns at about 40 across all servers), so each address lists a focused set.
Every address takes the same free key (`?key=...`) and can still call any of our tools by name; `find-best-tool` finds the right one.

## Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile apps)

Settings → **Connectors** → **Add custom connector** → Name `Aayat AI`, URL `https://aayatai.com/mcp` → Add. Then turn it on in a chat
from the tools menu. (Custom connectors are available on Claude plans that support them.)

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP: server URL `https://aayatai.com/mcp`, no authentication (prepaid credits: `Authorization: Bearer <key>`).

## Try it

The answer comes from our `docs-lib` tool (up-to-date library docs, one of our best products) and uses one of your free
calls. Each tool answer tells you how many are left.

## Paying (after the free calls, or for the paid-only tools)

- **Per call with x402** (USDC; the networks are listed in each payment request): clients built with an x402 MCP client
  pay automatically from the payment details in the tool answer. Code: [Getting started](/start) → "Paying over MCP".
- **Prepaid credits** (easiest inside Claude or Cursor): ask the assistant to run the `topup` tool, or pay at [/credits](/credits).
  Top up once with USDC (Base or Solana). Then send `Authorization: Bearer <key>` if your client supports headers (Claude Code,
  Cursor, VS Code), or use `https://aayatai.com/mcp?key=<your key>` as the server URL (claude.ai connectors can't send headers). The `balance`
  tool shows what's left. **Keep a URL with a key private**: it can end up in logs, screenshots and shared configs, and anyone
  with it can spend your balance.
