# POST /text/rank: $0.003 per call

Semantic ranking: give a query and up to 100 candidate texts (search results, FAQ answers, products, document chunks) and get them sorted by how well they match the query's meaning, not its keywords, with a 0-1 score. Any language, across languages too. Use it to rerank search results or pick the best chunk for RAG. top limits the list.

## Inputs

- `query` **(required)** (string): What you are looking for.
- `candidates` **(required)** (array): 1 to 100 texts to rank.
- `top` (integer): Return only the best N (default: all).

Bad inputs are rejected with HTTP 400 before any payment is asked for.

## Example answer
