Search the full text of SEC filings since 2001 for a word or "exact phrase": which companies mentioned it, in which 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K (items spelled out), S-1 or proxy, when, with a direct link to the document. Filter by forms, company (ticker, CIK or name) and dates. Pass ?q="going concern"&forms=10-K&from=2026-01-01.

## Inputs

- `q` **(required)** (string): Words, or an "exact phrase" in double quotes.
- `forms` (string): Only these forms, comma-separated, e.g. 10-K,8-K. Default: all except insider forms (3, 4, 5, 144).
- `company` (string): Only this company: ticker, CIK or name.
- `from` (string): Filed on or after (YYYY-MM-DD).
- `to` (string): Filed on or before (YYYY-MM-DD).
- `limit` (integer; default `20`): How many matching documents.

Bad inputs are rejected with HTTP 400 before any payment is asked for.
