Seller terms (draft, not in force)

Draft: these terms are not in force yet. We'll publish the final version before any listing goes live. Until then, sellers can join a waitlist; nothing is listed and nobody is asked to accept these terms.

PART A. DIRECTORY LISTING (buyers pay you directly)

A1. What we do. Aayat AI lists your x402 API or MCP server in its directory, its router (x402-find, find-best-tool) and on a seller page. We rank listings by the same rules as everything else in our index; paying us never changes that ranking.

A2. Payments. Under Part A, buyers pay you directly, to the payTo address in your own 402 quote (or however your MCP server charges). Aayat AI never receives, holds or forwards buyers' money for these sales, and isn't a party to them.

A3. Your responsibilities. You must own or be allowed to operate the endpoint and the payTo wallet; describe it truthfully; keep prices in your 402 quote; follow the law and our acceptable-use policy (https://aayatai.com/acceptable-use); and handle your own customers, refunds and taxes.

A4. Our paid extras. "Featured" placement ($1 per day) shows your listing in a labelled Sponsored slot beside matching answers. The "Verified by Aayat AI" badge ($1 to request) is granted after a manual review. Both are paid to us via x402, and fees for extras already used aren't refundable, except where the law says otherwise.

A5. Checks and moderation. We check your endpoint with one unpaid request about every hour. A new listing needs 3 days of checks with at least 95% answered before it is listed. A listed tool that fails 6 checks in a row is paused automatically and comes back by itself after 6 good checks in a row. We may also decline, suspend or remove a listing at any time (for example if it misleads buyers or breaks the rules). You can ask us to remove your listing at any time.

A6. Usage terms. When you list, you declare machine-readable usage terms for your tool's output: whether buyers may resell it, quote or cache it (and for how long), use it for AI training, and use it commercially; whether attribution is required; whether it may contain personal data; and a licence link. We show them on your listing page, in its JSON and to buying agents before they pay. You're responsible for them being accurate. Anything you don't declare is shown at the most restrictive setting.

PART B. AAYAT AI-FULFILLED SALES (optional for you; opening from mid-October)

B1. How it works. If you opt in, Aayat AI can sell your tool's answers to its own customers, who pay us with prepaid credits (and later by card). In each such sale Aayat AI is the seller to its customer, and buys a call from you as your customer: we pay your own 402 price in USDC from our own wallet, exactly like any other buyer.

B2. Price. We set our own price to our customer, the "Aayat AI-fulfilled price" (today: your price + 30% + $0.005), shown to them before they buy. You receive your full 402 price for every call we pay for. We never collect or hold money on your behalf.

B3. Limits. We only buy tools that pass our uptime checks (95%+ of at least 5 checks in the last 7 days), cost $0.10 per call or less, and take USDC on Base. Our spending is capped in total, per customer and per seller ($1 a day per seller at first), so sales through us may be limited.

B4. When a call fails. If your tool errors, times out or returns an empty or unusable answer, our customer gets their credits back automatically. If you didn't take payment, nothing is owed. If you took payment and the answer was unusable, your tool gets a strike: two strikes in 7 days pause our purchases from it for 7 days. Strikes don't affect your Part A listing.

B5. Opting in and out. You opt in by declaring resaleAllowed: yes in your usage terms (A6); we never resell a tool whose terms don't allow it. We also follow your other declared terms (for example attribution and caching) when we pass your output on. You can opt out at any time by changing that answer, and we stop buying from you straight away.

GENERAL

G1. Data. We store the details you submit and our check results. Your contact email is never shown publicly.

G2. No warranty. The marketplace is provided as is; our liability is limited as set out in our terms of use (https://aayatai.com/terms).
